Wow I forgot about that powder track. Some friends of mine at school actually liked that track. Me I hated it. There was some truely awful indie back then riding the band wagon along with the good stuff.

I love that Powder song
Know what you mean about being born ten years too late though... My last three gigs were Deaf School, Wedding Present and Pop Will Eat Itself, catching up a lot!
Off to see Wonder Stuff with House Of Love, Cud, Frank & Walters and a load more in May, can't wait for that
Currently, as in right this minute, listening to the first album by the Cooper Temple Clause (an unsung classic).

Well I did not realise will smiths missus had a metal band called wicked wisdom
Looked them up on youtube not expecting much but I was nicely surprised by the first track I heard "bleed all over me"

Been around a fair while so I am surprised I have never heard of them before. Guessing they are not considered credible in most circles.

Just recently discovered a band called First Aid Kit and while I generally dislike Western music I really like them!

^ Their new album drops next month, doesn't it? Looking forward to seeing if it's any good or if their debut album was a one-off

April 1st, already got it on pre-order!
Their new single Karate is out now on Youtube + iTunes, it's absolutely brilliant. Some early previews of the new album are really positive, I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac. The one that came after Rumors - it is sort of "under the radar". Quite good in places.
