Four Letter Word i thought was excellent, thought that sounds much more like a single. Midnight tonight on Channel 4 is the video premier for the Roller.

Bring the light i wasnt keen on, just sounded like great balls of fire but i've heard it a few times now and its a grower. ITunes France accidentally uploaded 30 sec previews of all the songs on the album, must admit they sound very good. Off to see BDI in March, should be a good un

I heard Bring the Light yesterday for the first time and really liked it. Always preferred Oasis when Noel kept his gob shut, so Beady Eye should be right up my street.

I listened to the free Radiohead concert they released to raise donations for Haiti, over two hours long and really rather good, all for a good cause too. Hope to see them live one day, considering they're one of my favourite bands I've made no effort to go and see them.

I've just finished listening to Warpaint's debut. It's beautiful. Like a cross between Wild Beasts and The National - but about a thousand times sexier than both.

I'll give you a hint:

No one would have believed, that in the last years of the 19th century, that human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space. No one even dreamed that we were being scrutenised, like someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets. And yet, across the gulf of space, minds immesurabley superior to ours, regarded this Earth with envious eyes. And slowly, and surely....they drew their plans against us.

You were listening to "War of the Worlds" as sung by Tom Cruise!   No seriously done by Jeff Wayne. A great album, I have it both on vinyl and CD. Got some great cover art for the vinyl.
