What's the album like, as I keep meaning to buy it.
Talking of Mr. Perry, I've been listening to Journey - Time3. A rather spiffing boxset with Journey's best tracks on it (disc one, not so, as it's their early stuff, and is crap. Discs 2 & 3, on the other hand, are simply awesome.)
It's excellent. The track Oh Sherrie made No 1 in the US. Along with his trademark ballads he throws in some great rockers - Oh Sherrie, Strung Out. Well worth buying. His long-delayed follow-up For The Love Of Strange Medicine isn't up to the same standard and feels somewhat forced, but is worth persevering with; you'll always prefer Street Talk, though. Do try and get the reissue, too, due to the extra material. I'll be picking up his Best Of next time I'm in Japan.

Haven't yet got Time3, mainly due to the price - £38.99 for 3 discs! A lot of it is also a repeat of what I already have but there are sufficient tracks to make it worth purchasing if the price comes down.

HAVE YOU GOT YOUR TICKETS YET FOR JOURNEY IN JUNE? There's a Journey-specific thread somewhere in Off Topic that will tell you more.

F'nar f'nar! You're welcome, though. I thought I heard the name Steve Perry at R3play and my first thought was 'No! Really? He's here?'. A bit disappointed when realisation struck! :D

Beady Eye - The Roller

Loving this tune, first single from Liams new band. Its what you think it would be, Beatlesy with a big chorus (As Liam said 'what did you expect - dubstep ?)

I've heard preview clips of their debut album and i cant wait to buy it. Off to see them in March.

Eminem - Recovery, I got this for Christmas I've really like a lot of Eminem's stuff for the past 10 years, think he's really entertaining. Before that; Beady Eye - 'The Roller' - thier new single, I really don't want to admit liking Liam's music, but it's really good so far and I can't wait buy the album and see them at the Apollo in March.
