We have just announced details of the official charity aftershow party. More information here... http://www.justgiving.com/PlayExpoParty2013
The Play Expo Charity Party takes place from 7pm on Saturday 12th October at the Fab Cafe bar/nightclub in central Manchester. Every penny raised will go directly to GamesAid to support their wonderful charities.

The party will have loads of fun stuff including live music from the awesome The British IBM, a videogames quiz and a raffle with some great prizes.

Brilliant, most likely would have ended up there at some point anyway, will be a good focal point to be sure to bump into some folks from here, a very worthy cause will benefit & it's central so it's near pubs& clubs&eateries&karaoke bars!!!

Make sure you get your tickets in advance though. The venue has a cap of 300.

So then me setting it up over three days is just drinking beer and eating take out?

Gonna be there like every year going with best mate for once, was with brother in law first year then work mate next 2 years cant wait i am off to majorca 4 days after but i know what i am looking forward to most lol

Don't forget to bring some change, we have a quiz and of course I'm there so there will be a raffle!

We already have BIG prize pledges from Sony, Madcatz, Namco-Bandi, Insert Coin and others, with a few big names on the maybe list, we also have a couple of cracking Retro based prizes that should have you drooling, keep checking for updates!
This is going to be AWESOME and the tickets are going pretty quick!

At the risk of me moaning again, if the event closes at 7pm, and the after show opens at 7pm, how are we supposed to shower,change,eat and travel to the other side of manchester in approximately 0 minutes?
