The Play Expo Charity Party takes place from 7pm on Saturday 12th October at the Fab Cafe bar/nightclub in central Manchester. Every penny raised will go directly to GamesAid to support their wonderful charities.

The party will have loads of fun stuff including live music from the awesome The British IBM, a video games quiz and a raffle with some great prizes.

Don't forget to bring some change, we have a quiz and of course I'm there so there will be a raffle!

We already have BIG prize pledges from Sony, Madcatz, Namco-Bandi, Insert Coin and others, with a few big names on the maybe list, we also have a couple of cracking Retro based prizes that should have you drooling, keep checking for updates!
This is going to be AWESOME and the tickets are going pretty quick!

Just had confirmed as a prize for the Play Expo Party charity raffle:
A large standee of Monty Mole signed by both Tony Crowther & Peter Harrap

Also I will be putting up my ELITE pin badge as a prize!
If that's not enough to have you grabbing tickets, I don't know what is!

Getting a train from Euston. As I'm completely unfamiliar with Manchester, is there only one main train station? If not, what is the best place to alight in Manchester ?

X50 from CC to Trafford center, drops you off round the corner

come out of piccadily station follow the footpath round to the right and keep walking, after about 5 minuits you will come to a large open area to your left and see a bus station on the other side!

this is picadilly gardens!

head to the bus station, jump on an X50 and ask for trafford center, you will see events city as you are pulling into the trafford center!

Is anyone who is stopping at the Premierinn Trafford Centre west planning on going to the after party?

Me and my mate are trying to figure out how much a taxi would cost and if there are others at the same hotel, it would make sense to go all in on a taxi.

I'll be booking tickets regardless but the more the merrier and all of that
