There's a Premier Inn at the Trafford Centre. Event City is next door to the Trafford Centre.

I'm not going to make it this year due to work. I'll try and get to one of the other events instead. Even more gutted I missed Revival now.

I'll be returning to PlayExpo this year and I can't wait!
Had a fantastic time last year which included a mammoth one hour long game of Columns versus the other half, I think my eyes were bleeding afterwards  Also shared a couple of drinks with Jeff and Giles from Llamasoft in the hotel afterwards as well which was a bonus, top blokes :)

Can't wait to see what is in store for this years event!

There are two Premier Inns and a Holiday Inn (or is it a Travelodge?) around the Trafford Centre I believe.

There are no train stations nearby though - you need to get a train to Manchester Piccadilly, then a tram to Stretford and then a bus to the Trafford Centre (you can actually buy a Metrolink ticket to the TC that covers both the tram and bus journey)

There is a bus thats about as regular as Pruneman that drops you off round the corner and takes about 20 minutes to get from MCC to there

Been checking out the prices of rooms, premier inn has gone expensive, hopefully they will pull their fingers out and put cut price rooms on offer

city centre and salford quays might be better options, the premier inn on portland street is decent I have stayed there before

Nintendo are back!

We are pleased to announce Nintendo as the first exhibitor for the now.play area at Play Expo 2013.

Nintendo have been supporting our events since the very first Replay Expo in 2010 so we feel it is fitting they are the first exhibitor we announce for Play Expo 2013.

Visitors to our show last year had the chance to get their hands on the Wii-U in one of the UK's very first hands-on displays of their new console and the Nintendo stand was one of the most popular of the entire show.

At present, Nintendo are remaining tight-lipped on what they will be bringing to this year's show, but we are sure whatever they do bring will be pretty exciting stuff. And of course as soon as we find out which titles will be playable at the expo we will let you know.

Details on our other exhibitors will be released in due course.

Will probably be my last ever event, just feel the community is not what it once was, hoping this event will change my mind. Feel free to contradict me! :D
