Cor, that looks like fun! Wish I had weekends, and a working ariel/digibox - I'd be up for a whole weekend of telly that way.

Looking at the list... some of those programs were "serialised", and watching one episode just wouldn't be enough. How will they choose an episode that will a) not require much explaining, b) won't require watching previous episodes before watching it and c) won't leave the storyline/ending so ridiculously open-ended without seeing the NEXT episode?

I'm thinking T-Bag, Knightmare, Press Gang, The Tomorrow People and Children's Ward in particular. Choosing 1 (or 2) episodes to air out of all those available is a BIG ask.

They'll be a great trip down memory lane for me, but for my children? My eldest got completely HOOKED on Knightmare, and watched all 8 series with me. She was 7 at the time. She also got hooked on Blake's 7.

Maybe rather than endless repeats of the same episodes of Peppa Pig, Pocoyo, Horrid Henry and Pokemon, they could stick a season or two of some of these on a regular basis? It's still kid's TV, and they would love it.

Or is my daughter strange??

Not sure with a few of those choices - Engie Benjy? Mike and Angelo?

Seriously - Im surprised the retro tv bandwagon is not a bit more widespread. I dont have Sky but could probably be persuaded by reruns of Star Fleet , Terrahawks , Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors , Galaxy Rangers and the original Tintin or Inspector gadget , 1990s turtles , Willy Fogg etc

Theyre probably already doing it and Im just really really behind the times.

Yes, Fun House; I'm yet to find someone my age who recalls watching this, though I'm certain it was on CITV when I was wee.
