I saw The Human League last Saturday in Halifax, Trev. That was the song they finished on. They were brilliant!

I can never decide between these two...

New Order - Blue Monday
Orbital - Chime

I can say they are both my fave of all time though!

Another great song, I could name dozens. Outside of the UK they're by far not known as they'd deserve.

The song sure is a belter. Caught them live at Penningtons Live in Bradford years ago. He announced that 'this next song isn't a League song, but I don't care!' We all knew what was coming. And it overshadowed the entire show (which was darned good in any event). Absolutely BRILLIANT. :D

Good choice, love Head over Heels.

Way to go, Marv! The 80's ROCK! Got over 50 compilations of 80's songs (in addition to all the individual artist releases) and find it hard what to choose to listen to. Years ago, got into a habit of recording my favourites from vinyl (got plenty of 80's released on that format, too!) onto tape; but ended up with so many tapes I couldn't choose what to listen to! Sheesh!

Stan and Ultravox are good shouts, too. :D

I bought two of their albums on the strength of this alone, and they are just simply beautiful albums - which I never tire of hearing.

The above song is just so......wonderful

Tough question, as the most awesome song ever is Count on Me by Sammy Davis Jnr. (sung to the theme from Hawaii 5-0), but my favourite at the moment is probably Have you Ever Seen the Rain? by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Although Phil Harris' Bear Necessities and Shaggy's cover of Under the Sea are pretty high on the list. Also Kaze Ni Naro (I become the Wind / Theme from The Cat Returns) by Ayano Tsuji and World Outside Your WIndow by Tanita Tikaram.
