How to connect multiple consoles into one TV

Post by Mantas » Wed Nov 28, 2012 1:07 pm

Hi all

I have some retro consoles (SNES, Megadrive, Master system etc) that have RF connectors.
I want to connect them to one TV. Does anyone know if there is a splitter with selector buttons I can buy? I have seen this for SCART cables but am struggling to find something similar for RF leads.

Thank you

I've only ever seen two-way switches for RF leads, which were the old aerial/game switches.
It wouldn't be too hard to make one from a pile of connectors and a rotary switch. You could get all the parts from your nearest Maplin.

But you would get a far, far better picture out of them by tracking down the composite or SCART cables for a lot of those.

Dont be silly, get a scart lead for all and a switch box, or alternatively have a Scart extension cable and have a hidden bit what has the end of the leads LABELLED!
