I was just wondering if anyone has tried this yet?
Particularly on a desktop.
I don't see the point in it for that application, but perhaps I am missing something?
although if it is good, I would like to ditch Apple tablets and try Windows stuff, but I fear it just won't do what I need.
thoughts and opinions welcomed, just try not to be fan boy about it

i had a quick bash on a win8 desktop in comet the other day, it looks pretty slick to me, but it was running on a big widescreen touch screen monitor.
i couldnt seem to find a way to go into classic windows mode though, would like to have a proper go at some point soon

thanks mainvein
I don't have any touch screen monitors, and so I think I'll stay 7 on the desktop.
anyone tried the tablets yet?
Seems to me that no one is talking about them, unlike other tablets out there which it seems like lots of folks know all about.
My TouchPad is even still getting some use !

I have not yet went Android on it.
I have looked seriously into it though as I think it has all the apps I need.
But, when I read up about it, it wasn't any English that I understood

ok, exaggerating a bit, but so many things to do, or in other words, go wrong !
ALl the diiferent versions and builds scare me off.
thoughts?
