Brad Pitt stars in this full scale zombie movie.

Virtually all the scenes in the first half of that trailer were in Glasgow! 8)

I like the look of it, but the zombie swarm type effects bother me. First time you see them knocking the bus or whatever over I though 'Cooool', second time I thought 'oh' and by the time they are climbing on each other to get up the wall I was bored of the effect.

I loved the book, not sure about the film yet, but it seems to have possibilities.

Yea it seems very different to the book as that is told through different eye witness accounts after the apocalypse. It also goes into detail on what would happen to the order, structure and authority of the people and the government etc. which is something interesting that zombie films don't really touch on.

The trailer does riff off the idea in the book of that 'domino effect' of a line of people running away and the back of the group becoming infected and surging forward, catching up to the front.

However it turns out ill go watch it as I like Brad Pitt and I like zombie films.

Hmm, that is non canon as the virus should take approx 24 hours according to the books.

Hard to tell what it'll be like but unless its an 18 or at the very least a 15 it won't be worth watching.

I remember what a pain in the hoop it was to get round Glasgow city center for the week they were filming this. Was quite cool, admittedly. Won't be going to see this or anything like that, though.

This looks really disappointing, from the book I was expecting something very different. This looks like 28 days later, with a bigger budget. It might be a good movie in it's own right, but I was looking forward to a pretty close adaptation. The book was excellent, I've re-read it so many time now I've lost count.

Looks more like Day By Day Armageddon crossed with 28 weeks later.

Could be interesting.
