Traditionally we call it Scotland.Spector wrote:Looks like a great event to me, and I'd love to go, but bloody hell what chance do you have if you haven't got a car! I've just been on google maps and it appears to be positioned roughly in the centre of a place called Nowhere

You're probably best to look at travelling to Glasgow first, then travelling from there to Kilsyth if you're using public transport.
On the upside, it not being in a major city should mean that food and accommodation should be relatively cheap if you need an overnighter.
And before anyone says it, it won't take too long. I'm currently towards the end of an 8 hour bus trip home from the Play Expo in Manchester (not including the travel at either end, which brings it nearer 10 hours).
Scotland is a small village in the north of England, have I got that right? I don't know... sounds kinda scary to me going up there.Antiriad2097 wrote:Traditionally we call it Scotland.Spector wrote:Looks like a great event to me, and I'd love to go, but bloody hell what chance do you have if you haven't got a car! Basically its a train and bus, but the bus part might be a bit more awkward depending on what time you leave, that's the problem.
The 27 (NOT the 27A or 27B) takes you from Glasgow, through my hometown and straight to the door of the hotel in Kilsyth. Takes about 45 minutes.Antiriad2097 wrote:Traditionally we call it Scotland.Spector wrote:Looks like a great event to me, and I'd love to go, but bloody hell what chance do you have if you haven't got a car!
