hi martin
i have spoken to the family and they would like the donation to be made to the british heart foundation, we have donated a few of gavs belongings and we held a collection yesterday at the funeral for them, just seems appropriate with gav having a heart attack, if this goes ahead i can give you gavs details and his next of kins as you need these to donate in memory of someone, hope this info helps,
and again thank you for the kindness
i think marvin meant to send this to me via pm but no bother...

i will be taking up a collection for BHF tomorrow at the lass O gowery video olympics for anyone who wishes to contribute, this will be donated in the memory of bsg!

I'll let the "Marvin" thing slip for now :)

And thanks for doing that mate. I know the family will really appreciate it.

Was shocked to hear about Gav, only found out yesterday when I saw a few of the messages on his Facebook popping up. I knew Gav through a friend and he used to come round and we would swap the latest C64 releases and talk about what was in the music charts at the time. Had many a good Saturday night out too. RIP Gavin Crossling.

thats awful news, seen him on here for years. Was only yesterday that i started to watch some of his youtube vids too, was great to finally put a face to the name.

My thoughts go to his family and everyone that knew him personally, wished that i got to meet him properly and chatted all things retro.

For some reason I didnt connect the "bsg" in the thread title with bsg from here. Very sad news. Was a cool guy from the limited interactions I had with him. Thoughts to his family and friends.

Darran's out of the office until August 6th, so hopefully we'll know soon after if it's possible to put in a tribute.

:( Very sad news. He didn't live very far from me, though I never met him.
