Thought I was going to be able to watch MOTD without cringing for the first time this season what with the 5-2 only to find we wore that horrid 3rd kit (purple, grey and orange) FOR NO REASON! Since when has red clashed with yellow and green? :?

 We finally got a win. Away at Oldham and Cody McDonald, tucks one away in the 88th min.

Isn't that our 3rd kit? I guess the black kit was too much of a clash aswell.

Anyway, cracking win! :D

Outrageous dive from Suarez, thankfully the ref was having none of it.

He went down as though someone had simutaneously tripped him and elbowed him in the neck, disgusting!

Ha. Lovely defending - knee -> shove -> elbow!

And the defender then wanted Suarez booked for diving! I ask you, who is the cheat??

if that horrible little cheat stopped trying to claim something every time he trips over his own laces, and stopped acting the **** every game, he might get some of the more deserved decisions.
as it is, he's getting just what he deserves.

I can't stand Suarez either, but every decision should be based upon what actually happened in that instance, not on reputation or "previous"...otherwise the whole thing descends into a farce.

Every footballer dives and cheats, but I do agree that in his first season he didn't help himself with his exaggerating. But then he also gets kicked from pillar to post every game so I can't say I blame him for wanting something in return.

On a brighter note, it was funny to see Suarez steal the ball from a defender, then nutmeg him for good measure, before bending the ball past the goalkeeper with the outside of his boot, from the edge of the box. He's an amazing footballer.

not every footballer by any stretch dives, or play-acts like he does, and certainly doesn't gesticulate and chase and shout at the ref like he does (unless they play for chelsea that is).
just his first season? every game i've seen he falls over more often than not, and that does NOT automatically mean he's being kicked from pillar to post. it's ridiculous. moreso than a lot of players. it's a shame, because there's a half decent player lurking in there. he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is though.
liverpool would be pretty stuffed without him though this season.

i agree with what you say about treating each decision as it comes, but the ref has to be 100% clear about what he's seen, and if he has doubt in his mind, then he can't give the decision. if we were allowed video replays to decide all of this would be irrelevant anyway, because chances are, the right decision would then get made. might make football a bit too clinical and maybe more boring for it though i guess ;)

The best thing about Suarez is how much he winds up opposition fans :)
