See there is Clockwork Orange, it's a classic!!

I've just recently re-instated my turntable and brought some lp's into the living room, wifey a bit bemused but what the hey!

Personally I love my vinyl and so do alot of the 'popular' artists of today, do a search on hmv.com and you'll find looaads of new stuff!!

Some people do that - Flaming Lips definitely have anyway.

I got my record player from TJ Hughes, nice and cheap with a built-in radio and built-in speakers. Sounds better through my PC speakers, naturally.

You get loads of fun stuff from charity shop record boxes. Stuff like "A Tijuana Brass Christmas", "Hammonds In Hawaii" and a recording of the astronauts during the first moon landing.
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

I saw a few AC/DC albums in that shops £5 tray

Happy with my still sealed Black ice one.
For me its what ever takes my fancy, or if its cheap and a bit buggered for the album art

Metallica have been going mental with the limited edition vinyl issues recently - as well as the re-release of all their albums (one at a time) on heavyweight 180gm vinyl, there was a Record Store Day limited silver 12" of the "Beyond Magnetic" EP, and a live 7" released with a magazine to celebrate their 30 years in the business (live versions of "So What" and "Through The Never").

The split Metallica / Black Sabbath picture disc that was released for Record Store Day three years ago is escalating nicely in price.....

Great to see more people getting in on the Vinyl hoarding… I mean collecting.

Was something I got into myself almost by accident. Started picking up a few things, like albums I really liked and rare second hand bargains etc before I realised what was going on I had a living room cluttered with records.

Its always great when those rare occasions come around where someone dumps a battered Tesco's bag full of unwanted LP's on you.
