Is anyone going for the new games or are you sticking to the retro sections?

I'll check out the retro stuff when I get there but it's mostly new games for me.

Ha ha same here. But to be fair we're all pervs, if we see some fit girl in some little costume i'm sure we'll like it, but the second some 18 stone bloke puts on some small cosplay outfit and pretends to be a game character, so very wrong !

Wii-U comes to Play Expo

Here's the news that Nintendo fans have been eagerly waiting for – the Wii-U is coming to Play Expo! Nintendo have confirmed their Wii-U tour today and we are delighted to say the console will be available to try at our show this coming October.

Yeah sorry we can't make it this year - Meaty previously booked holidays with family at same time (as was earlier than the last couple!). Gutted we can't get down as looks even better this year.

Sorting out a mini bus to the multi award winning Lass o Gowrie on the Saturday and Sunday after the show, will expect people to chip in so the more the merrier

Booked myself into the Trafford Travelodge, which wasn't cheap, but is convenient. There's a few B&B's locally quite a bit cheaper.

I think Cosplay can be pretty cool depending on what you choose to be. I think I might dress up, but nothing too "out there", just a Gallian Uniform to represent Valkyria Chronicles (big fan of the game!)

We always go for a curry... how big is the curry house?

The one I am thinking of is accommodating.

Can't remember the name of it, but usually end up there! Going to pay it a visit on Saturday, to see how many people they can accommodate. At the moment there are 3 of us going officially, but if 5-6 more people declare an interest, I'll probably book it .

Should be pointed out is that we're going fairly early (7-7:30ish) with the view of getting to any event that the Lass is running a little later on
