Hey hey! Quite a few here at least.SirClive wrote: I'm from Manc and I'm going

Is anyone going for the new games or are you sticking to the retro sections?
I'll check out the retro stuff when I get there but it's mostly new games for me.

I'll see how it goes really. Think I'll probably look at the retro, new and competition stuff. If there's any indie stuff I'll be keeping an eye on that as well.
CosPlay scares me a bit. Each to their own, but... still... not for me

Ha ha same here. But to be fair we're all pervs, if we see some fit girl in some little costume i'm sure we'll like it, but the second some 18 stone bloke puts on some small cosplay outfit and pretends to be a game character, so very wrong !MikeFishcake wrote:CosPlay scares me a bit. Posted it in the pub thread, might as well post it here.
Sorting out a mini bus to the multi award winning Lass o Gowrie on the Saturday and Sunday after the show, will expect people to chip in so the more the merrier

I'm thinking of going to the Sunday day event.

Booked myself into the Trafford Travelodge, which wasn't cheap, but is convenient. There's a few B&B's locally quite a bit cheaper.

I think Cosplay can be pretty cool depending on what you choose to be. I think I might dress up, but nothing too "out there", just a Gallian Uniform to represent Valkyria Chronicles (big fan of the game!)MikeFishcake wrote:I'll see how it goes really. A few Manchester based people (basically the people who go to the Lass but can't be trusted setting up) are going for a Rusholme Curry on the Friday night.
Kinda want to not make it a free for all (as I'm organising it), but if you want in, let me know and I'll drop you a DM with details

Can't remember the name of it, but usually end up there! Going to pay it a visit on Saturday, to see how many people they can accommodate. At the moment there are 3 of us going officially, but if 5-6 more people declare an interest, I'll probably book it

Should be pointed out is that we're going fairly early (7-7:30ish) with the view of getting to any event that the Lass is running a little later on
