I'm going for both days.
My colleague is coming as well. He just turned 19 but loves his retro games.

We have been working hard on the programme for the last few weeks. Hopefully will go to the printers next week. This one is a bit different to previous years (and will be free).

All right. I have booked the flight.
I will be arriving in Manchester Airport Friday 12th night (21.35).
I will be leaving from the same airport on Sunday 14th at 12.55.
I think I will sleep at the airport the first night. Any suggestions for the accomodation on the next day?

I'll be posting more info and advice requests in the appropriate topic!
Looking forward to see you soon!

Well as of last night, all the Trafford Centre hotels my missus checked were fully booked, we got a Travelodge (can't remember which) about 3 miles away £80 for the Saturday night.

Just realised I hadn't booked a hotel yet!! Only want a cheap budget place - lots of hotels fully booked. So went for Ibis Budget hotel Salford Quays. Looks pretty close and it is £82 for the 2 nights. (booked 2 rooms so can sleep 6 adults)

I'll find out over the next week how many I am bringing up - and if there are any spare beds for forumites that have yet to book.... :D

Is the Lass O'Gowrie still having a post-expo get together? If so, there's an Ibis Hotel literally one solitary minute's walk from the Lass. (Charles St/Princess St, not the Portland St one I initially mentioned) Might be worth considering.

We do have things going on.
We are planing a reshowing of Together in electric dreams, the play that has had no bad reviews (ok one, but the guy didnt get its a Drama comedy)

We also have drinks discounts for Expo goers (£2 a pint or guest ale)

Hang on when did I start thinking that I fully work there?
