I last went there about 13 years ago which is a long time. From there I haven't been abroad ever since.

I went to Australia twice in 6 months 2 years ago. Lovely place but the flights are a killer!

My actual faviroute place to go on holiday is Calla Millor in Mallorca.

America for me, so much to see and do. Been 3 times and had amazing experiences every trip, amazing food, everyone i met was super friendly. Like i say its like a collection of counties within one country, you want the sun then go to Cali, want some snow/skiing go to Colorado.

Foods so cheap and its amazing how good the quality is, 'some' of our pubs would be put to shame by the food in the US, you pay ridiculous amounts for some lunches/dinners in pubs here, take for example Little Chef, no wonder theyre going out of business, overpriced rubbish. In the US its just great quality, loved trying the mexican food there, vietnamese. Must admit the indian food wasnt great in the US, curries tasted different.

But will go back soon, love the place.

Maybe we could post good places to go/things to do when visiting these places.

I'll start...

If anybody happens to go to Ayia Napa, Cyprus I recommend the following..

Waterworld, great atlantis themed waterpark.
Los Bandidos Mexican Restaurant - Probably the best restaurant I have been to.
Sapporo Japansese restaurant- Again, bloody superb. And all the food is cooked right in front of you, very entertaining.
The Sling Shot
The monastery
And the festival, sometime in Sept iirc, brilliant firework display and celebrations in the square.
Melissa Bar: Great restaurant/bar on the outskirts of town.

Thats just the tip of the ice burg tbh, it really is a great place to visit.

What do you get up to when you are there, apart from mental masturbation? 8)

Aren't we all meant to have a 'staycation'? Didn't you see the adverts!

Anyway, my preferred ones in the UK would be the West Country(Devon and Cornwall - mainly I remember family holidays down there) and the north of Scotland(the Lochs and so forth - wish I sort of discovered whilst I went to a friend's wedding up there).

As for aboard :-

Switzerland(I have a relative there. It is nice and clean. There are lots of places to visit : Einstein's house, the chess board in the middle of Berne, museums, Piz Gloria(where On Her Majesty's Secret Service was filmed), and so on).

Belgium - Nice beers and their cuisine is good as well. I have visited the Spa-Franchomps racetrack(when it was part of a public road) and driven around part of it. There is the carrot museum as well

New York - Just an amazing place to visit. Watch out for the rain! It buckets it down there. The hustle and bustle is great. Loads of things to do there.

Where in Corfu did you go?
