Reserve me a spot if there's any available come Feb 20th. Cheers :D
Fear not, there will be plenty of places available - less than half last year's entrants have taken their places this time and they only have a couple of days left to do so before it's a free for all! ;)

Not literally free, you understand...

This could well be my first retro meet. :)

They are usually hundreds of miles away. This is do-able. If I can find somewhere cheap to crash for the night, I'll be there.

That's very kind of you. If I do go, I'll certainly take you up on that if the offer is still open when the event is on. :)

Mat - I think you should also start a betting book over whether Martin Deem or Smraedis is going to win the tournament :)

May as well just send that mini arcade cab thing to Smraedis's house in advance, saves carting it up to Manchester.

But according to the list Smraedis is in Manchester anyway!

I still think Martin Deem might also win it. They are both really good gamers.

Its possible Mohicankid might win Game of The Day again.

Obviously smraedis and Martin are among the favourites but there should be some other serious contenders this year if some of the other guys that have expressed an interest do come along, so it's far from a foregone conclusion. The increase in serious competitive players will have an impact as the overall scores will be diluted for sure...

The games of the day will be a totally different prospect this year too since they are on consoles rather than arcade cabs. I think there could defintely be surprise winners there!

Even though I'm happy that people already think that I will win, and I would be happy if I do win :P I don't think people should just expect me to win it.

Anyway I'm looking forward to it, and I'm sure it will be an enjoyable weekend, whatever happens. I wonder how well other people will do

When I was nine I could get over a billion on Sonic Spinball, so if that DOES get chosen as a game... Ooh!
