Kids next door watching cartoons. Me and the missus drinking a combination of vodka, champagne and red bull. Seems to be working so far....
Staying in is the new going out (I'll keep telling myself that!)

Staying in tonight having a few drinks and dancing silly on Just Dance 3. Later on I'll go online and try to play BF3 with all the other hammered people.

Sorry to hear of peoples bad year, sounds very much like how my 1999/start of 2000 was, feel for you guys, really do.

Just like to thank everyone on here (well, 99.9% of you good folks ), for making it another great year on the forum, did some fantastic trades, had great banter and debate, made some good friends as well.

For those of us lucky enough to be in work, may that continue for the next year at least and those not so lucky, here's hoping 2012 turns things around.

I don't tend to 'go much' on going mental over a New Year, but i'd like to say thanks and best wishes to this rather splendid community.

I'm glad to see the back of 2011, I won't bore you all with why.

What I will say is a Happy New Year to you all. This is still my home away from home, and I look forward to another year of amusing insults, bickering and rants.

Just got in from work and although I run a bar, I have not touched a drop of beer or malt whiskey (well, there was that Talisker to see New Year in).

Time to sit down and have one very large malt - now got a choice of 12 different ones to choose from hmmmmm - it'll be Old Pulteney 15yr Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

2011 hasn't been bad for me or the family so can't complain - fingers crossed 2012 continues like that. Best wishes to those that have had not such a good year and to those with not so good things coming up.....

Happy New Year to everyone. I think I am still on a drunken high. Take note : Stella and Champagne are a good mix!

2011 wasn't that bad a year for me. The only negative side to it was that my uncle had to have a major heart operation in December. My Mum and his girlfriend stayed with me for a while, whilst he had the operation in London. Happily he pulled through and is making a recovery.
