I had a feeling this was coming for some reason. I think eventually every film will be remade. Me, i'll stick to the originals 8)

Well, there are 2 further books (at least that I know of).

Also, they could make a film of the original book.
As much as I love Blade Runner, it's a very different feel to Philip K. censored's original novel.

Heard it was going to be a prequel....then a sequel....then heard it hadn't been decided...then heard....blah blah.....

Wait and see with this one I think, still think Blade Runner is a fine film, different from the book (Do Androids..) but the other books by Jeter:

Edge of Human
Replicant Night
Eye and Talon

are a nice continuation of the Deckard/Rachel story, Edge of Human would be good but you'd have to suspend believe and have new actors because ford and young are a little too old now imo

Still wait and see what happens

With the mention of Jeter (KW) , can I just recommend a book of his called 'Farewell Horizontal'. Excellent (shortish) story.

When I first heard about this, it was so vague that I expect it will be a bit like Prometheous in that it's very secret, and could be a new story set in the same Universe.

I mean, why? I've read he's doing some Alien spin off as well. As in, it's set in the same universe.

If this is the way it's going then I demand a Legend sequel! Mmmm, Mia Sara......
