Is anyone going willing to take some stuff for Mohicankid's lucky dip at Replay? I can't make Replay this year and the items are a bit too expensive to post, so have no other way to get them to him.

I was going to ask at RetroActive but completely forgot

Starship - sorry for laming out on you like this but I think I might have to take my neighbour into Broomfield for an operation now so I can't help you get set-up in the morning.

However, all being well I should be able to make the evening and will help pack-up, etc. Not sure what to do about bringing consoles though - is there enough room to have them all out at the same time or (hint, hint) could some of them be wheeled out a bit later on in the day? I think I was probably down to bring my Dreamcast and VGA monitor and/or TV so could bring this with me then, but let me know what you want to do.

Not to worry. I tested and packaged up my Dreamcast and a few other extra systems just incase something like this was to come up, and the systems other people have said they would bring did not make it. Thank you for letting me know.

I am hoping I can talk the pub into letting me set up most the bits on Friday evening, and is most likely most the stuff (apart from the valuables), will be packed up and collected on Sunday.

I am sure you can understand I don't really want to be moving stuff around and setting stuff up during the event, so thanks for the offer, but perhaps you could bring it along if there is another one?

But please do still come along, and just have fun playing the games and using the systems.

At the moment it just looks like me and my girlfriend will be setting the machines up before the event starts. If anyone can make it around 10:15-12:00 to help (I guess just plugging leads into consoles and testing things work OK) that would be appreciated.
I'm gonna burn your house down. With a lemon.

Ok Starship, thanks for that - what I'll do then is bring a few Dreamcast games with me and the lightgun (if you don't have one) and at least I'll be contributing :) If you're very lucky and going to have the Xbox in there then I'll bring my copy of DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball

I have finally decided on the competitions - so many systems, so many great games and too much choice!

I will announce the actual games on the day.

16:00 - Fighting Game Competition - Panasonic Q
17:00 - Shoot-Em-Up Competition - Atari Jaguar - Gorf
18:00 - Retro Homebrew Competition - Atari 2600

Prize-giving will be sometime around 18:45-19:00ish

Starshipuk,

Barring accidents, I should get down for this - tho not sure how late I can stay. I'll see if I can get there for ten-ish to help setup, if you want. I'll also see if I can bring a mate along.

Looking fwd to it!

Sam.
