Everyone else, thumbs up, etc etc.. lets see some pictures :)
Please can you share the AA link for where the video was posted. I can't find it.

As for the AA Event post, it had no replies at all
http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/18 ... msford-uk/

Although it seems AA has a larger American following, with mostly just American events listed in the events section.

The video was posted in the thread about the event in the Jag forum, I also posted a link to the event in this thread and on Facebook.

As I said to you at the show I think I know of somewhere, I just need to check it out with them

March seems like a good month actually, that might be an idea.

@Linko - The game was there and it was put on, it just wouldn't play properly. Problem with the code that needs fixing and despite it being worked on until 2am the day before we just couldn't fix it.

Let me know. If I was to run another one in Chelmsford the big question would be: Do we run it at the same place (if they are interested) or find somewhere bigger?

The main problem I have with supporting events further away is Televisions. Amazingly nearly all those systems, leads, PSU's and other bits fit in just 3 boxes (I also took a 4th box full of spare bits that were not used!), and using multicarts saves tonnes of space - But I had to make two trips as the 14" CRT TVs, C64 Monitor and Cub Monitor are just too big and bulky to fit in my van with everything else. The Rock Band setup, while excellent also uses up a lot of space with its decent PA and speaker system.

Yeah, I haven't been for a while! Unfortunately the last couple of months have clashed with something or another. Will see if I can gather a few Liverpool RGers together to come over for the next one :)

If Gaz isn't in attendance I have a spare room & bed available you can make use of if that helps. Also across road from Asda so after CC pizza is a very real possibility :D

It's not too bad getting the last train back seeing as a lot of people seem to scarper around that time (also I'd have to get back for work in the morning), but cheers for the offer :)

For those that went to this excellent show you might be interested to know that I did a write up on it for the latest edition of Atari User Magazine:

Just posting here incase anyone who posted here and went to this has new post notifications set (the Facebook Event Page looks like it got deleted after the event).

Just to confirm I am not running this again this year. However the Retro Lords are running an event in Essex this year, not too far away on Canvey Island: http://www.retrogamer.net/forum/viewtop ... =6&t=35138

That's a shame but I can imagine how difficult it is to organise such events and life getting in the way!
Any plans for next year perhaps? As I said before, I would be happy to help as I live in Chelmsford.
