Re: Retro Gaming Revolution - 1st October 2011 - Chelmsford
PM'ed the people above. Will release more details about the pub to all soon.
Decided to create a poll to see how many would be attending.
This will probably be the last event before REPLAY, so a good chance to get some gaming practice in before that!

oi theres only Room for 1 lucky dip man in these parts!StarshipUK wrote:-someone to run some kind of charity lucky dip or raffle.
.

if i can get there i will gladly do a RAFFLE for you, but theres no realistic way i can raise prizes for another dip before REPLAY as it would just confuse the issue!
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...
Re: Retro Gaming Revolution - 1st October 2011 - Chelmsford
I am not far away in Hertfordshire, I may be up for attending this and bringing some goodies with me!StarshipUK wrote:Retro Gaming Revolution is a retro gaming event being held at The Red Lion in Chelmsford, Essex on Saturday 1st October 2011. The Pub Post Code is CM2 0AA. The times are Midday to 2AM.
More information will appear soon including a system list (Any Requests?) and competition information (Any further requests?), and a website is currently being developed. In the meantime, if you have any questions or would be able to help out with the event in anyway please let me know.

If anyone could help with the following please:
-someone to help design a logo for the event name which can then be used on a leaflet/poster/signature banner
-someone to run some kind of charity lucky dip or raffle.
Please PM me or reply here.
I have also organised and run several Jagfests now and helped with other shows so if you need any help with anything just give me a shout.

Re: Retro Gaming Revolution - 1st October 2011 - Chelmsford
Seeing as how we're all Essex boys, any chance of us doing a cruise down Southend seafront after we've finished up at the Red Lion? Might get a few funny looks from the locals if we're blaring out Final Fantasy soundtracks though

Re: Retro Gaming Revolution - 1st October 2011 - Chelmsford
I think the event will go on most of the night. After all, it does take place in a pub!
