Anyone watching the fight tonight?

Post by Bub&Bob » Sat Jul 02, 2011 5:11 pm

I am already rather amused by the fact that Haye has ballsed up the intro and kept everyone waiting......lets hope he hasn't mugged himself off and beats the crap out of Klitschko......

Haye VS. Klitschko = England VS. Ukraine! Not quite Rocky IV but it's close enough, lol.

Two rounds in, seems like Haye's being taught a lesson. Third round better. It's getting feisty!

Haye just hits a decent one. Building nicely.

Appears all five rounds so far have gone to Klitschko. :(

Perhaps but Haye is doing ok, he could catch him and send him down.

Haye seems to be competing more effectively now after round 7
Round 8 to Klitschko
Haye needs to take some risks as it seems he needs a knockout to win
Getting tasty in Round 9!
Haye has to go for the knockout now with only 3 rounds left
Round 10 to Klitschko
Round 11 to Klitschko
Frenzied final round but it wasn't enough. Oh well. :(

I was listening rather than watching, which is always difficult. I thought Klitschko could have ended it sooner, but he had the sense to stick to his points advantage. Good for him. Aside from that the result was never in doubt for me, Hayes was never going to win that one.

I wonder if certain sections of the media will now tear Haye apart for the kind of disrespect he showed the Klitschko brothers in the days leading up to the fight and immediately prior to the fight. :?

One giant too many for Haye. The result was never in doubt after the early rounds.

Too big, too strong, but Haye took some big shots and didn't go down so that's something. He should retire now as he said he would do.

I thought Haye came out well. He fought valiantly and took all the big hits.

I did watch the fight and it was pretty underwhelming, couple of exciting rounds but other than that not too great.

I watched the UFC PPV last night and it just shows up boxing for being a crap and outdated sport. UFC was amazing last night, so many good fights especially the Faber vs Cruz championship bout.
