David Bentley (17m)
Rebrov (11m)
Dos Santos (8.6m)
Postiga (6.25m)
Boateng (5.4m)
Vega (3.75m)
Mido (3.5m)
Leonhardsen (3.5m)
Rocha (3.3m)
Gunter (3m)
Davenport (3m)
Davis (3m)
Saib (2.3m)
Ghaly (2m)
Rasiak (2m)

From hereon in i'll not bother with transfer fees. Just think of them as waste of wages

Routledge, Gilberto, Dozzell, Taricco, Pamarot, Dominguez, Atouba (aaaaaaaawful!), Zamora, Korsten, Bunjevcevic, Gardner, Blondel, Acimovic, Tramezzani, Berti, Assou-Ekotto............

There, i think i got the majority of them.

Tops (all IMO)

Bale (10m. Lot of dough, but is that not a bargain?)
Berbatov (10.9m, plays unbelievably, sells for 32m. Nuff said)
Klinsmann (2m and 175,000 as both times count!)
Sheringham (2.1m)
Carrick (3m)
Ginola (2.5m)
Mendes (2m...... well i loved him anyway!)
Anderton (2m. You tell me he wasn't world class when not injured?)
Gascoigne (2m)
Robinson (1.7m)
Lineker (1.2m)
Waddle (650,000)
Ardiles and Villa (700,000 combined)
Mabbutt (120,000 best Spurs player ever)

Not gonna go any further than that as i reckon you are bored already.....................
Tramezzani! That Swiss coach/manager signed him. Christian Gross!! Utterly useless.

Dos Santos may still bring something to the club I guess and Rocha and Mido weren't bad players although I expected more from Rocha. Mido was sometimes spectacularly bad as well as being a bit of a w____r.

Woodgate, 7m, 49 appearances. Not because he's put in poor performances, but he's not been fit since 08/09. Shame really. I heard his playing days may well be over too.

Just a thought, but considering what he may have cost Spurs and may cost them in future seasons if they keep him, perhaps Gomez will edge onto that Spurs flops list.

Emile Heskey is a flop, anywhere. |A terrible example of a footballer. No balance, no acceleration, no composure.

...yet I consider him to be morally brave and hardworking for whatever team he plays for. I'm not disagreeing with the points you've made (as they aren't too far off the truth), but I wouldn't call him a flop.

I'm not a Spurs fan but he was the first player that popped into my head.

I reckon six million for Hernandez to Man U was quite a bargain, where compared to other, more costly strikers...

Nah Savo was a good player...just really young....right player wrong time. He went off to score daft amounts of goals in Spain. His left foot screamer at Wembley against Leeds is one of my favourite goals ever!!

Villa bargain...£10,000 for Dwight Yorke...years of goals then 12.75 million for him from ManUtd.

Flop, David Ginola....what a pile of censored....

£3m or something, a decade of incredible service.
He was bought from Willem II for £2.6m and yet it was a steal alright.

I thought he done really well in his first season at Liverpool as he scored quite lot of goals in all competition. However, the following season he didn't score that much as he played out of position by adapting to left wing in midfield.

Milan Baros?

How much did he cost? Goals to games ratio?

depends for what team you mean...his 2 goals against Birmingham sent them down in 05 and then we swapped him for John Carew so a flop for Villa? Not a chance

For Liverpool, he redefined the term "headless chicken". Look up, man!

Hate to name an obvious but Cristiano Ronaldo is one. Cost Utd just £13 mill and sold for £80 along with winning them every trophy inbetween.

Xabi Alonso was another bargain buy worth £10.5m from Real Sociedad.

Bosko Balaban. 5.8m (in 2001) for 9 appearances (7 as sub).

Oh and obvious top:
Paul McGrath - 400k
