Despite only averaging 4 hours a night sleep since Thursday and not getting home till after midnight last night, for some inexplicable reason I was wide awake at 7:30 this morning... :(

Will probably post more later but just wanted to say it was a cracking weekend. Lots of hard work for us behind the scenes but I actually enjoyed it a lot more this year. Only played 2 or 3 games all day on Saturday but Sunday was a lot calmer and I managed to fulfil my aim of playing on some of the arcade cabs, a few pinballs and a couple of songs on Rock Band too!

Other highlights for me were the Cosplay Masquerades, working with our hosts Matt and Darren (top blokes), getting to talk sh!t onstage for 2 straight days and the bit at the end where I was chucking all the freebie out to the crowd.

Oh, and doing the quiz at the aftershow party was fun too, though it went on too long. How many of you noticed that the first level of Donkey Kong was actually printed on the tickets?

My feet are killing me and I haven't even tried to speak yet but I can't imagine it's going to sound good when I do, but it was just about worth it!

Thanks to everyone that helped out in some way but specifically thompson9980 (Guy) who is an unsung hero and does some absolutely incredible work operating all the light and sound, and was definitely my partner in crime when it came to keeping the show running smoothly on the stage. Cheers mate! :)

Also a mention to my Saturday night drinking buddies SirClive, boggyb68, pforson, the_hawk, meaty70, supermario and others whose names I didn't know or have already forgotten... ;)

More to follow when I get my head a bit straighter....

Great event everyone.
Gordon and Dave really outdone themselves this year, but let's not forget the other guys like Stephen, DPrinny and BoggyB who pretty much spent all day on door duty, or setting talks up, and everyone else who gave up their own time for the enjoyment of everyone else.

As has been said by everyone else the weekend was a great success, and I was constantly amazed by the sheer size of what has been achieved this year. Here's hoping the future events that are planned are just as successful.

I had an absolutely ace time this weekend :D Thanks to all involved in the organisation, hugely impressive setup!

Was great to see all the familiar faces and meet some new ones. Thanks to LinkoVitch for this lift home too, far more fun than the train.

Did the waggle-o-mania joystick survive the weekend? Saw a lot of raised eyebrows from people who approached from an angle that obscured the joystick

Had a funny moment when explaining why I liked the Minotron 2112 game to a chap who was chatting to me about it, only to finish and realise that it was Mr Minter himself :D Lucky I was being nice about it!

Thanks again for all the hard work that went into it, my attendance at Replay 2012 is a no brainer!

I avoided the group photos again this year.

This shall become a hobby at events from now on.

I personally enjoyed the Replay more than last year, mainly because this time I actually got to meet the people I was looking for. Due to the size of it all though, even that wasn’t so easy at first, but I got there in the end. One of the best bits was talking to Oli Frey and Roger Kean about the old Crash/Zzap days with psj3809- good to see they still have a genuine pride in what they did back then.

For me the Sunday was more for gaming than socialising, and I loved the old pinball machines, of which there were so many, more than the arcade machines I think. The retro arcades on the left hand side were great too, but just imagine if that were as big as the pinball section at the next event. That’s the one thing I’d like to see next time, though I know it’s not easy to get these things down there in numbers. Which is not to say there weren't quite a few arcade cabs as well!

As the others have said, congrats to those responsible for pulling off another marvellous event.

I've got the day off to recover from the cold that I probably gave anyone and everyone who came to the Attic Bug stand :)

Only played on one game - Dingo - and didn't have far to walk to play that.

Bob Wakelin was a craic and a half to work with on the Saturday. Although we probably did scare a few people off :)

Feckbook pictures - but there' s not many of people per se. However, I did promise to upload the ones I took of Bob's fans who were buying his artwork and got him to pose with their purchases :)

Oliver Frey & Roger Kean were also busy - some of his original artwork was sold and I think they sold out of all his art books. Great blokes who emptied my pockets of my 'spends' when I was a kid once a month with Crash magazine :)

Apologies to Matt C's missus for the lack of cheese. The crackers were there but Anna was busy being Swedish with Andreas when you came over. The Pacman badge will have to suffice for now :)

Cracking event, didn't think that last years could be improved upon yet the guys managed it. Only one complaint: need more pinball!

Well got back last night about 11. Had a good time but feel i'm gonna face some stick for saying i enjoyed it more last year. I thought the hosts were great and enjoyed playing on the arcade cab, also the tourny hall was great but felt it didn't get the attention it deserved.

I can understand after speaking to Vinny that last year people were half inching the games and thats whey most of the consoles only had one game in them, i feel they could have been rotated more.

I think i felt it had become rather corporate and i by no means mean any thing against the organisers as i know these things don't pay for themselves but that was just my feeling.

I would also like to say that i enjoyed the aftershow party but found that the 4 people from the EGL were vile and rude and that may put me off next year i will add this was a isolated incident.

Apart from that i had a excellent time and would like to say thank you to the organisers and the chap that did the raffles as he does some great work at the event.

Hi everyone!

I met a few of you over the glorious weekend and inadvertently gatecrashed the group photo (when I thought it was the crew one!) - so I'm determined to remember to login more often here now I've finished uni and settled into work - I just got lazy and spend too much time loitering on Twitter! :D

I took over 1000 photos during the weekend which I think Replay Events will be releasing as and when... I spent a fair bit of time harassing people and sneaking up behind them mid-game so there may well be a few of you guys!

That's interesting - what sort of problem did you have with them?

I had a bit of a problem with them as well during the main event on Saturday - thought it was massively disorganised. My son spent 2 hours after signing up for the FIFA tourney (and being told it started in 10 minutes) to actually play a game before he lost patience. Total lack of communication; we kept having to ask them what was going on. I tweeted about it, and got a reply back from one of them. I've asked him for his email address so I can go in to great detail about how I was annoyed...
