Fwiw, I shared with DPrinny last year and didn't notice any problems. Mind you I'd had a few beers so was unconscious at night. Had a good weekend all round, though I did develop an ache in my back passage for reasons unknown.

;)

Seriously, he was a pleasant room share, relatively quiet all told and went to bed early (but didn't complain about me staying out).

Anyone driving from London?
Going on Friday and returning on the Monday? With 2 spare seats and wanting to share petrol costs and earn some free beers?

The reason I ask is that a return train ticket London to Blackpool for 2 adults (My girlfriend and I) costs £150! Grrr.

Ta,
Pete

Edit:

Or alternatively, we can hire a car for £90 for the 4 days. Assuming another £50 for petrol there and back, so £140 for a car - anyone want a lift from London and willing to help pay towards car costs? (if we can spread the cost between 4 people it would be £35 each).
WANTED: Amiga CD32 games. PM me. :)

i can get it down to £96 but you'd have to change trains twice each way! if you buy advance tickets NOW from euston - crew with London midland £8 each, each way NOT RETURNS time restricted,(from euston 8:46, 10:46, 11:46 or 12:46, but you can't miss the train) Crew-blackpool buy from crew on the day, £32.70 per person return (change at preston)
return journey - use return tickets back to Crew (change at preston again) £8 tickets are only available for the following times from Crew to Euston 12:33, 13:33, 14:33, 15:33, 16:33 but i must stress BOOK THESE NOW with london midland and you can only use them on the train booked!
Alternitavly if you get the coach from victoria it will cost £68.50 - £82.50 for the both of you but its a 7hr journey!

If you don't get the single room you could cancel it and share the twin room I have, my share dropped out. £25, 10 min walk and decent breakfast. Guessing we will be travelling on the same trains there/back too!

Question for Arcadian...

This event is litterally going to be a last day or two decision for me.. :(

What is the last cutoff date to order a weekend ticket.?

Or can i order and pick up at the door and pay on the Saturday.?

As far as a room goes i will have to take my chances.. Still rooms at the Norbreck so will go with that.
Higher price but no walking in the bitter wind.

If i come then i can't travel up until Early Saturday morning so i won't miss much but won't be able to help set up this year.
Im doing my best... The current Replay Warlords champion has got to be there to defend against Boggy..
