Would love this to happen. Yeah normally these reunions after all this time dont work but would like to see what happens here.

Classic band, did some great music back then. Bit before my time, would love the chance just to see them perform it. Must admit Ian Browns voice live is veryyyyyy poor but the whole experience would be great

Never thought Squire would bury the hatchet - remember the fuss over "The Seahorses -> He Hates Roses"?

To be honest, whilst I love the Stone Roses, Ian Brown's solo stuff is much better. Not too bothered about a reunion, would rather just have another king monkey album.

Presume it's just a financial thing for the other band members? :?

The collaborations Ian Brown has done with UNKLE are leagues ahead of the Roses......except for "I Am The Resurrection" and "Fool's Gold".

No he hasn't (not from what I have read). Mani has always said he is up for it. Reni is the hard one.

Bit biased as youre a dance fan ! Totally disagree, theres a ton of legendary Stone Roses songs, they'll all be remembered in the future not the odd tune with UNKLE.

The 'UNKLE' stuff is better than any Stone Roses stuff bar I am the resurrection and Fools gold ? Dont make me laugh

I would say yes to a reunion, but you can guarantee the tickets will costs a frickin fortune when the tour starts.....

I would probably pay it just to hear `I am the res ` live - the album version is still one of my favourite tracks ever.....

it would be quite funny to see an audience of flare wearing forty year old blokes....coughing and wheezing as they do their old man dancing......

and I would be one of them

Right said Fred never went away I will have you know!!! They have something silly like 6 albums now!

Whilst I like the Roses, not sure a comeback is a good idea, Ian Browns solo stuff is great. Although that has stalled a bit of recent. So many bands are doing comebacks, the mighty Carter USM are doing another one off gig this November, crazy thing is, the line up with support acts is exactly the same as the first gig I ever went to back in the early 90's. Brixton Acadamy, Family Cat, Frank & Walters then Carter USM, I was goign to get a ticket, but its just feels like treading water these days.
