Unofficial RG Forum Xmas Party @ The Lass O'Gowrie, 21st Dec

Post by witchfinder » Thu Dec 09, 2010 2:37 pm

We are having an RG Xmas Do at the Lass during their usual Computer Club night on 21st December. This will certainly be the last meet of the year so hopefully a few of you can make it along. DPrinny will be doing the majority of the setup (I'll give him a hand when I show up) and I think the festivities will commence at 6pm.

We are going to try and have a Xmas/Winter theme to the games so if you can pledge anything that fits the bill, please do so here and we'll let you know if we want you to bring it.

Already on the list are:

Christmas Nights (Saturn)
Christmas Crisis (CD-i)
James Pond 2 (Megadrive)
Vs Collection (Super Famicom, a collection of games featuring Penguin-like creatures and including a snowball fight!)
Waku Waku Ski Wonder Shoot (Super Famicom, skiing game with some decent mode 7 graphics)

If you need more info about the Lass go here: http://www.thelass.co.uk

Hope to see you there! :D

Sounds good!

I might take a half day off work (am working my first weekend in about 5 years this week so they owe me some time) and watch Tron at the Printworks that afternoon then go to the Lass :)

Ooh, yep! Up for this!

Myself & TwoHeadedBoy will come along, and Mark too work-depending.

Not sure if we have any Christmas/Winter related games, but will have a look over the next few days.

If only I loved up north, I'd be up for this. Still, I'll be there in spirit, drinking and playing Intellivision Ice Hockey while eating a burger :D

How about Pong on a slightly-out-of-tune TV?

Given the level of interest I reckon upstairs is a must (unless they've got something already on there that night.)

It's my daughter's 1st carol service that evening & Lucifer will be driving about in a snowplough before I miss that one!

However I should be along once it's finished. :D

I will be coming along :-)

I could shy out of work early if you need a hand with the setup.

OK, I have booked the day off work and bought a ticket to see Tron on the same day.
If anyone else wants to come to the Tuesday 21st Dec showing of Tron Legacy at the Printworks 3D IMAX, at 1pm then get yourself a ticket and I will see you there. BTW - as it is a Tuedsay you get a £3 discount so it is £9 instead of £12.
