I'll be attending RV, and I'll deliver them then. I'll also be bringing a couple of PS2 memory cards as well.

Sorry for the late notice, but I think I'll have to be dropping out of this one. Can't afford the accomodation, and out of the eight staff at work, there's already three of them who're away on that weekend, so the place'll be falling apart with 50% of the workers gone.
Disappointing isn't the word for it

As I've now lost my travelling buddy ^
- does anyone need a lift from up this way or en route Thursday night? And back again on Sunday? Have got a few spare seats going in my car if anyone's interested.

Can people please look at whats going in the auction so far and suggest how theyd like to see it auctioned off, ie individually, batches etc.
Im off to Cool Spot next week to see what the lovely chaps there are donating
And also PC friend
I am trying to arrange getting to Second Byte to collect their donations as I have been told its quite a big amount, awaiting a list from them.
I would like to arrange everything into how we are auctioning it, so if anyone wishes to proxy bid on anything they know what they are bidding on.
Thank you
Amy

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make this now, pretty much like last year I'm having a cash flow issue
Shame as it sounds like a good event and I also wanted to explore Oxford. Oh well, maybe next year.

Kenz will be having a stall. If anyone wants anything specific, check out Kenz store, and contact him to make sure he takes it along: http://www.binaryzone.org/retrostore/in ... x&cPath=65lucifershalo wrote:are there people selling items?

Unfortunately no one else in the community asked if they could have a stall at the event (although I don't think any of the regular event stall holders are attending anyway which is a shame), although like Eurocon last year (The Lass is much smaller than the Folly in my opinion), we may have had to restrict sellers to a few hours on the Saturday or Sunday to allow us to run all the machines we are taking.
It is not a showing event in terms of showing rare and unusual machines, as all the machines will be common popular ones that people know and love (with only a few exceptions), although I expect people may take a few interesting bits along like IPads, Nintendo 3DS and hopefully a Kinect. The main focus is gaming, socialising, competitions, drinking beer, good food and raising some money for charity. It may be a free event this year, but apart from a lack of goody bags, raffle and a few less competitions it will not be much different to last years fun filled event, which was commented by many people as their favourite event they attended last year.
Although I can't promise anything (as people sometimes cannot make it at the last minute), I hope there will be a few special guests along this year.
Like I said, Saturday is the best day to come. Lots happening with Competitions, a Barbecue, Charity Auction and the late night Rock Band (or drinking downstairs in the pub for those who don't like rock band).
I'm gonna burn your house down. With a lemon.

Yep, Binary Zone & Psytronik will be there - I'm bringing lots of nice stuff this year and will have three systems constantly on the go for people to have a play with. If you wanna buy something, just come and find me - I'll be staggering around with my shiny Space Invaders top on holding a pint of guinness as usual.
(I should make a little cardboard standee of me in "retro show" mode so you will know who to look for - in fact, I might just do that!)

I'm bringing my DSi down for the Tetris DS Competition. Also, is the Saturn Bomberman tournament going to be 10-man? I know it's possible with two multitaps in the console.
