Probs me, I do get leaped on when ever I try to take part in a debate instead of them trying to argue there points

Usually by the same two people
I was a bit offhand with you prin, and I apologise.

But sometimes its hard to work out whether you are trying to make a serious contribution as you spend so much time making joke replies and spamming Gifs.

Well, that was all that would have been needed in that thread... it is pretty easy to police this forum without having to put it on lockdown!

Being told I have to carry around a bulky walkie-talkie all the time that doesn't shut up shouting all day, just because someone can't be bothered to call me on my phone if they need me urgently and I'm not at my desk (which happens about once a month). So I have to put up with this constant annoyance until I get another job...

Markopoloman being permanently banned after years of service as a moderator. Disgusting behaviour on Future's behalf.

All the E3 reviews/breakdown/reaction videos by youtubers trying to act like they are some sort of industry experts.

Yeah the forum has had a bit of a storm blow through it. At least there is somewhere else we can all meet up :)

Give someone a web cam and they will always think they are an expert

Definitely. I saw one mocking the Xbox reveal saying that Microsoft still didn't have any good games. Utterly stupid and ridiculous.

I'm sorry you feel this way, but the rules are in place for a reason, regardless of how much great work mark did in the past he was seen as breaking the rules. If we made concessions for markopoloman then it shows favouritism towards him.

You know what grinds my gears? Politics ruining friendships.

We've all seen it on social media over the past few weeks/months/years one person supports the blue team and another supports the reds and no-one wants to back down and then someone shares something and then they get deleted.

one word- playground. Thats where all these people belong.

If your friendships could be ruined by a cross in a box which is supposed to be private, you need to take a long hard look at your friendships.

But a Permaban? Far too extreme for any minor infraction. Showing favouritism, or a level headed decision. This one size fits all moderating really doesn't work. It's one of the reasons why Mark was a good mod. He did actually consider past action and personality. Do you honestly believe with a clear conscience that permanently banning Mark is the ethical thing to do?
