Having to explain what a reference to something is then why its relevant
ALL I ASK FOR IS PEOPLE THAT GET A MODERN WRESTLING REFERENCE!!
STUPID IDIOTS!!

Also being put on a course all about recycling, reducing carbon footprint and using greener modes of transport
Well I already recycle everything that can be, even electronics (retro console restoration and that)
Id have roof solar panels if eastlands (my housing association) would let me or at least show some kind of interest in having these flats running off a greener energy sorce
I cycle almost everywhere or get the bus
So yeah, preaching to the wrong person

Youtube's front page filling up with ever more clickbait, videos with misleading thumbnails and gajillions of sh*tty "Top 10" vids. For some reason it also seems to have loads of Jeremy Kyle clips on there too and it isn't based on viewing history as I always delete everything and am usually not signed in when I go on YT!
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

You're actually less likely to see the clickbaity stuff if you stay signed in and watch actual content. It's the way the algorithms work - the more it knows about your viewing habits, the less it'll recommend stupid Top 10s with overly-elaborate thumbnails.

Not ideal, granted but YouTube's all about compromise these days...

Subscribe to a few channels, that will do it.

I get ashens, an itv chart show guy (usually deeraz or one of the other main guys), and then either a guy I know off rc or a motor racing channel

Angry at myself for not being quick enough to try and get a NES mini. To be honest there was no plan originally to get my son one in the first place, so there will be no tears on Christmas Day. Just thought it would of been a nice bonus.

The amount on ebay from scalpers is crazy

Even CEX has a used one in the window that does not look mint for £125

^Give it a while, the prices are falling, next year they will be the RRP

All those STUPID IDIOTS that are paying over the odds are, well, STUPID IDIOTS!!
For over £100 you can nab a NES and a 151-1 cart

At least I can take pleasure in people being so silly at paying so much.

We know they are coming back into stock at some point. It's not like they are not going to be making anymore ever again.

Yeah, the thing with all hardware aimed at the retro market is that there's a big demand up front but it tails off very rapidly. Everyone currently losing their rag at Nintendo for not making enough of them will probably be able to pick one up sometime in January, and demand will promptly fall off a cliff after that; they presumably know all this and just don't want to be sitting on a mountain of unsold stock when that inevitably happens.

I'm guessing a lot will be bought by non-gamers on a nostalgia trip. They'll collect dust then end up on a CEX shelf near you! Or ebay, or Gumtree, or Facebook.

Knowing your current situation, be VERY careful which jobsearch websites you register with. Some of the less scrupulous ones will take the information from your CV and sell it.

If I see a Leeds or Derby area code, I know there's a 99.9% chance it'll be a call centre scam.

Flu and BMW's, been wiped out all week and spent an unplanned £700 after the car broke down twice following leaving the Garage, I think this time its fixed but driving makes me feel sick currently.
