^I am expected to clean the stairway tomorrow

Already pointed out that its like a green house in there due to it being all windows none that can be opened,
The whole building is a modern one and the AC is constantly broken, no windows can be opened, the only cool places are the big walk in freezers in the labs

Anyway
Sleeping when I dont want to
Trying to keep to a set routine here, but I keep dozing off

Old people that you walk behind stinking of sweat. (Them not you!)

Deodorants have been around for decades so these people were young and probably used them but must have given up?

I know I should not, but I watched one of those benefit programs on channel 5 last night. I got so angry I wanted to smash my TV. So much about the program and its 'stars' pisses me off I am not even sure where to begin.

They are despicable poverty-porn shows that could never be considered as informative documentary's, with their primary objective of exploiting and humiliating people for their viewers entertainment, contempt and outrage.

Smash TV!!

I saw that, the couple from Leeds with their mouths always permanently open by an inch live a couple of hundred yards from my work, recognised the house. Depressing to know I earn less than them after tax yet support 3 people inc myself, work 40+ hours a week and manage to clean my house at the end of a day when theirs was an absolute hole. Must be recent program as well as the Fultons supermarket they went to only opened a few months ago..thought the benefits cuts had put a stop to a lot of this.

The guy from Bradford was hilarious saying he would get a job in the mills, except they have moved further afield to...'Leeds...or maybe Wakefield'. It is amazing how people can drift along in life without any sort of knowledge of what is happening in the world.

He really did not have a clue about the world, just his local town

The one thing they have not done yet in these programs is make them take IQ tests,
no doubt some production company is working on that idea right now.

They probably make it messy for the show
Is it as bad as these?

Today was supposed to be my final redundancy meeting, but they still haven't agreed the terms so cancelled them all. Tomorrow is my last day, I'm moving to Kent on Friday and no one has the slightest clue what is going on. Farce doesn't even begin to describe it.

MS Outlook.

Before now (quite recently even), I could scroll through my usually full inbox and select all the crap, mark it as read and then delete it.

NOW, something has changed because once you've marked the selected items as 'Read', it unchecks them all meaning I need to select them all again to delete the lot in one go. I can't be bothered doing this so now I have hundreds of unread emails in my deleted folder which is just annoying to look at.

Why make such a pointless change? I don't get it.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

My local Asda has STOPPED DOING BREAKFASTS!
If i wanted a pizza id buy one from the store or get it dlivered
If I wanted a burger threes a McDonalds across the way or id buy one from the place accorss the road

Its only the 3rd choice as ones closed for a few weeks and the other gives very little food for the price
So no more maybe hot food from the cafe in Asda

My wife's ongoing campaign to annoy the crap out of me by using her own personal labelling system for game genres has reached new levels of driving me up the frickin' wall.

Her current game of choice is Borderlands 2. A game picked primarily for its cartoon style and strong female characters. It's a bit of a breakthrough game for my mrs because she normally shuns the first person shooter stuff. The split screen co-op has been a proper laugh marred only by her insistence on referring to it as a "one person shooting" game instead of "first person shooter".

Drivers yet censored again. So some really simple things from the highway code

1 “RED means ‘Stop’. Wait behind the stop line on the carriageway”
This does not mean, keep edging forward until your whole car is over the line and you are in our drivers way. Nor does it mean act like your are at a drag strip / in a Fast and furious film

2. A double Yellow line means, “No loading or unloading at any time”
Now at any time means not at all, EVER so it does not matter if its 1am or just dropping a someone off it means do not stop to let anyone in out of your car.

Please note the above rules also apply to Taxi drivers, yes they do. They might think they are above the highway code but they are not.

Yeah i got called a stupid p rick earlier funnily enough. Outside my asda is painted Taxi / pick up point. Am i wrong in thinking that its not only taxis that can wait here to pick someone up? i assumed the / icon means any other vehicle can also share this waiting bit.
I was there maybe 5 mins waiting while a lardass taxi driver pulled up half the length of my car, put the womans shopping in, slammed his boot and called me a p rick as he did a 96 point turn to go out.
