Not that it matters in this day and age with the internet etc...
There is something great about the artwork on VHS boxes still to this day.
A lot more than I thought then.DPrinny wrote:silvergunner wrote:Wonder how much anime that got released on VHS in the UK back in the day still has yet to get a DVD release?

Theres actually quite a lot, the Manga "classics" (some on that label are a bit pish) line released a fair few (own them all bar Sword of truth), annoyingly some REALLY good ones never did, some have come out on DVD, but not over here
Fist of the north star, and the rest of the series (think it stopped at episode 30, just as it got really good), the OVA has two endings
Battle Angel Alita
Odin
Mad Bull (Think it has but US only)
3X3 eyes (criminal)
Legend of the four kings
Buying them on VHS for the "Comfy" factor, sure a lot are on Youtube and I could probabliy attach my Laptop to my CRT via S-Video, but I like to own the real thing. Plus theres the off chance I could stumble upon something rare, or that one with teh clip that HAS BEEN BUGGING ME FOR 20 YEARS!!
I shall become the keeper of the tapes
The only thing missing is that im not watching them at 2am on Channel 4
But the intro on "Manga video" ones is still awesome
