Upgraded my PC gubbins after 5 years on my old system.

Now sporting an AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor, 8GB of RAM and my old GeForce GTX 550 Ti, all running on Ubuntu.

I realized I really need to do that after seeing Fallout 4's requirements, this old girl really can't cut it anymore :(

My recent other Purchase has been a Big Sony TV type Stereo for the car, it also has an Aux input so I can finally have a set up for cassettes again :D

Sadly, I don't even think that build I have will run new games competently, which is why I switched back to console gaming, only play a few GOG Games and Football Manager on the PC these days....but it was getting to the point where Firefox was struggling to work properly as it was having a hard time working with my old AMD processor, web pages often slowed down to a jerky mess.

Took my liittle lad into Smyths toyshop to buy him a Call of duty megabloks set he wanted.

walked out with 4 transformers generations combiner war figures.

As a lifelong G1 fan I could not resist.

Except with 4 you don't have enough to actually build a combiner?

I know.

I wanted to complete the stunticons, but they never had motormaster. So going to buy that whgen I get the chance.

The look on my Gfs face was priceless once the penny dropped and she realised I actually bought them for myself.

Bought Mark Webber's autobiography, Aussie Grit: My Formula 1 Journey. Really good book with plenty of insight into why he quit Red Bull at the end of 2013 and things that happened within the team that haven't previously been spoken about. Tesco have the £20 hardback for £9.50 which was a nice price. They also have a Mansell book for £9.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
