Stevenage (no longer Borough) at home to Pompey. Quite like that draw, with potential for an upset at the Way. Looking forward to the league season a bit here and think we can go quite well.

We played them three times last season and even though we're now two divisions apart... we can't quite shake 'em off :D

I'm rooting for the home teams myself, ie: Southend and Colchester. With Southend being relegated, a win in the first round could be a bit of a boost for them.

Southampton against Bournemouth has got a few people at work excited, hoping (fingers crossed) that it will be on the telly.

I imagine that we will beat Bradford and progress a couple of rounds but that will be about it unless we get very lucky.

Fixtures are out already and Forest start againt Burnley followed by Leeds.

Links to fixtures, last link is list of all clubs.

Been waiting for transfer news for new players being bought in, specificially a left back, and the first piece of news is that Forest have sold James Perch to Newcastle for an undisclosed fee, so basically peanuts.

Not as good as the Northern Ireland one that is released today.

Pure Mexico '86 throwback. I love it. I've already ordered one for me & one for my kid.

And here's Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody unveiling it at a recent gig...

No new kit for us yet - but chuffed to bits that Colwyn Bay (new manager, new team, basically a whole new start in a new league) beat Bangor City (safe, secure, training since mid June because of European fixtures & supposedly a bigger club) 2-1.

FC United of Chester City & Hove Albion next game :)

SEEEEEEEAAAGGGULLLLLSSSS!!!

Just got back from Colwyn Bay vs. Bangor City. Was 2-0 to the Bay (good win). Marred by crowd trouble. Some Chester 'fans' (I use that term loosely) & a couple of Wrexham lads who were looking for a fight kicked off. Police helicopters, 27 cars, tasers, dogs, you name it!

Was locked in the ground for an hour :(
