Yeah he purchased Pixel Nation for however it much was and was banging on about how he was going to turn it around and make something from it and blah blah blah.

Whatever.

Tis a shame cause I thought Keith had the potential for something decent there.

yes you are indeed correct, but worked for Pix'N'Love publication at that time, as Keith (Larfarious) and Myself done a small print run of the Nes-bit magazine, Steven was gracious enough to allow him part stall space with the Pix'N'Love books, but regarding Pixel nation Steven Gauntley purchased it at an undisclosed price with intentions of a re-birth of the pixel nation brand, but decided to kill it off..and I heard there were some unpaid fees to contributors, but i don't know if that is true or not.

How is it a shame? everybody clearly knows what he's all about and has done for ages, why would anyone deal with him? It's deffo not on, the way he has behaved that is, but people have to take resposibility for dealing with him over and over.

most people (including me) didnt know about his wrestling promotion past thou - hes now had 3 promotions and all 3 owe people money - his brand of 1PW still owe thousands of pounds to people that they'll never see since it was bought over and now dead in the water.

I agree that if someone didn't know? they didn't know.

However with the retro community (and especially on here) someone doesn't get a mole on their ballsack with it being discussed at length in the handy shandy backrooms of doom on here, come on now.

I don't class myself as being part of the community or anything other than a passing member on here so obviously it's not me but kudos for thinking you are clever.

Well it time for an update on my case.

When I checked paypal last night it stated the seller had until the 8th to respond to my case. I have come home today to an email stating that the money has been refunded, I have just checked and I now have my money back. Very happy, best news in weeks.

EDIT:

Also the site it gone (it was up yesterday)

Shame you can't trust him as those Nintendo books are selling cheaply!

Is that company still around who created those Nintendo books? Seem to be going very cheaply which seems surprising

Quick update from me:

I have been refunded 50 pounds out of the 200 I sent him -- he sent me 25 pounds a week for two weeks.

The refund money is coming to me via PayPal from yet another third-party. I've independently confirmed with this new person that he's aware the money is a refund to me, and that he is not expecting any products from Mr. Gauntley.

On September 10, Gauntley promised me a third refund installment was coming. It hasn't shown up yet, and he hasn't responded to my emails since then.

I would like to remind everyone again to please file a report with ActionFraud (information listed earlier in this thread, and in my blog post) if you have also been defrauded by this man. Our only chance the police will bother with this is if they receive numerous credible and factual reports against the same person.
