£46.30 return on the train from Birmingham to Blackpool. Quick change at Preston. Nice. Just waiting on some funds to clear and I'll book a ticket & hotel room. Going to go solo for this one, as I got let down by friends in March for the last event I was going to attend. Anyone else travelling from Birmingham?

Pacman... I ate my mixed grill on a table with you at RetroVision, did I not? What joys!

I doubt it. I don't think Jon went to RV (he is the guy who brought the Pacman cab to Retro Reunited)

Then I have been lied to! The table-buddy I ate with told me he was the UK #1 at Pac-Man!

I have been speaking to the guys at Sumo Digital recently (the heroes behind console versions of Outrun 2 and Virtua Tennis amongst other things) and they will be coming along to the show. They also expect to bring an Outrun 2 arcade cab, a Virtua Tennis cab and possibly some more!

It is great to see the industry getting behind us!

Are you going to be doing one of the lucky dip/raffle style jobs at the show?. I have a box full of stuff, all of which works but none of which is in particularly collectible condition that I would be happy to donate. I think off the top of my head there's a PS1, Saturn, Atari 2600, possibly a Master System 2 and NES and some others. Its not boxed and a lot of its tatty but I could chuck a couple of games in with each, they should be ok as lucky dip prizes.

You'd need a big freaking box to put that stuff in, how about one of those giant ball pools instead so people could dive in and have a rummage around.

Regardless, just get one of those giant ball pools. I haven't been in one of those since I was a kid and from memory, they're awesome!

There used to be a massive indoor fun centre called Professor Peabody's in Blackpool that had loads of ball pools, rope swings, slides etc. That place was awesome! :D

They probably wouldn't let us 30-somethings in now however even if it was still there... :(

I'm sure there's one of those big fun area things in the Pleasure Beach. They couldn't say no to 30 of us wanting to go in there, surely? From memory, they have a rope you can pull on which bangs a giant drum that's above the parents' area.

Noticed SirClive missed this one, so I'll step in and say ... affirmative! :D

HOWEVER there are still some details to iron out (e.g. nature/extent of involvement etc) before we can make any announcements (sorry!).

Though it's fair to say that we're absolutely thrilled with who we've got onboard so far! ;)
