Well the only way Ford was going to appear in the FA was if they 'did that' (To be fair all these years later surely we dont have to add spoilers for that !). Sad though but thats what he wanted.

Again the Last Jedi wasnt brilliant but i didnt find it 'phantom menace' bad. But even those prequels do have good moments, just a shame theres so much crap in those as well though. Watched Rogue One the other day again, still really like that film and that sequence with Vader is superb

I understand why they did what they did, all I'm saying is that would have effected people's desire to see Solo. Ideally Solo should have come first.

Give it a go. It's fun, has a bit of a GOTG vibe. It's not as epic in scale as main series SW films but it is a solid spin off.

I'd think that Solo has only one serious problem, in that Alden Ehrenreich simply doesn't hold up as a younger Harrison Ford. I don't think it's his fault; nobody else could have done the role justice either.

Still, if you can swallow that there's much to enjoy about the rest of the film. There are lots of events alluded to by his remarks in the rest of the films. In particular, if you want to find out exactly how he won the Millenium Falcon and what on Earth he was talking about with the Kessel Run, it could be the film for you.

You'll see it on Disney+ soon enough, you'll need that to watch the new series on their way.

Everyone seems to have liked Rogue One, so the prequel series should garner some subscribers. I'm in.

Available to buy or watch on iTunes etc. Well worth watching.

Do like all the snippets of info you have about upcoming shows etc. Theres rumours there is a Kenobi film coming but that seems to be underwraps, two TV shows coming (Mandolarian one and the one with Cassian Endor). Should be the real final episodes of the Clone Wars coming at some point as well. Looking forward to it. Just hope Episode 9 when it comes out in a years time lives up to the hype

Just ordered that massive Star War Archives book, not tons of in depth stuff behind the films, more visual but looks to be a great book, just hugeeeee. Think thats actually out next week

I think Solo was released while the current deal was still in effect, so should reach Netflix at some point.

Going forward, you're probably going to need a Disney Plus subscription for all things Star Wars though.

The suggestion has been that it'll be less than Netflix, to reflect the lower volume of content available, at least at launch. I'm thinking sub £10 a month.

hope so, if they start putting all the really old stuff on then I think the price will just. Just think about how many series of cartoon and live action stuff Disney has there name on

I'm going to this on Sunday: https://www.thessehydro.com/events/detail/star-wars

Anyone been? Not as good as the 'Star Wars in Concert' thing that was done with Anthony Daniels (that I missed), but hoping it's worth the trek to Glasgow.
