Cheers for the reminder dude, forgot all about it! Now booked it on Sky+ so I can't forget it!

Brilliant, amazing, fantastic. Fkin perfect man. That was some kind of wonderful.
That was the most epic moment in televisual-games-related programming since I saw a Microprose advert on Channel 4 in 1993.

Re: Charlie Brookers Gameswipe..
While being designed for an audience not so well acquainted with video games Gameswipe manages to please both casuals and fans quite nicely!
I'm sure I wasnt the only one getting all excited at 3 second clips of various games and being all "aw look its on the telly yay!" and the genre discussions and reviews were great!
Wasnt so sure about Dana O Brien and that other fellow but the Consolevania guys were great with the retro talk, +1 for mentioning and showing Lawnmower Sim and discussing that Jet Set Willy is impossible to beat!
Also....<_<....>_>...I want that Neighbors game, it looks fun (though I guess animal crossing fits that bill)

Re: Charlie Brookers Gameswipe..
Was alright, I liked the Nights idents with Flying Charlie.. and the Madworld Review was a thing of beauty. Seems to have captured a good feel, but then was likely as he was manager of what is CEX on Tottenham Court Road , Iam lead to belive in the mid 1990s.. Lots of love for the Snes on there, not so much for the megadrive and a few errors including calling Super Mario 3, Super Mario World at one point.
Other than that made me laugh quite a bit, and I liked all the homages built in all over the place

Did anyone else notice the turboloader cutaways?
And that hover bovver stuff - I was hoping and dreaming that Jeff Minter would magically appear to do a synopsis on Chessington Zoo during the early eighties - but maybe that's to come?

All your base phrase was on
this was the single best television programme of the decade.
I nearly screamed like a girl when Skool Daze was on at the start ...then flight sim on the zx81.....then chuckie egg.....it was brilliant.
If you are reading this Charlie (and I think you are).....cheers !!!!
