so sometime around the weekend I am picking up two boy rats to live in my games room, and would like some suggestions for names

a few of the ones banded around so far have been
Solid and liquid
Snake and Raiden
censored and Dom (and marker pen Da Bungalow on their house)
Adam and Joe
Bub and Bob
Mick and Mack
Fatman and Vamp
Neo and Geo
Lance and Billy
Sam and Max
Ken and Ryu

Anyone think of owt else awesome?

I will of course try and get photos of them playing games into Lets All Play

Bub and Bob gets the vote from me. As much as i like rats/mice etc you do know they havent a clue what youre saying to them ! At least a cat or a dog know their name !

Good on you for getting them, hope you can let them out a fair bit for a runabout. Always hate seeing rats/mice just in a small cage forever.

they will be in a big cage (big enough that people say you could accomodate 6 or so rats in) with plenty to play with, and they will get to run about and play games in the evening with me in a secure part of my games room, and maybe on the lawn if i make a pen for them so they can have a dig

re: knowing their names rats can do basic recall to name amongst other things, and i'm hoping i can clicker train them to do some other interesting bits and bobs (i know someone who has clicker trained a hamster to run in circles, and rats are much more intelligent than stinky hamsters

)

Used to have two girl rats m'self, Russell and Milk. They responded to their names, yep!

I'd leave them running loose in my room all day, then when I got in from school, I'd go in the room and say their names, and they'd come running out from under the bed or something.

Your going to have a lot of fun with them over the next four years, whatever you call them.
