I would definitely come to a Sheffield one. I know there are already some thoughts around an event in July though so you may want to make it earlier (or come to an agreement with the potential organiser of that - I will PM you). I would have thought April would be a good time as it is after Retrovision.

Any help I can give just let me know.

Thx mate! April could also be a possibility as I think there should be a good 2-3 months between any event.

I've just sent you a PM saying exactly the same as SirClive!

Anyway, I'd certainly attend an event in Sheffield if you put one on...

Avoid September and I could be on for this. I can get a train to Sheffield relatively easily (I think I'll pass on the bus next time), I've done it for work a few times. Takes about 8 hours still.

Unless anyone is driving down from up here...

Yes yes yes, April is good, the earlier the better :)

I am willing to try my best to help out, I know that Dark Reaper and I can provide a lot of hardware and tv's etc

I shall have a friendly word with the more Retro inclined guys at Sumo and see if we can get some support off them, may even get some follks willing to do Q&A's on Gremlin/Infrogrames/getting chosen to do Outrun2 etc

Shaun, I will fully support this and offer any help I can to get it off the ground.

My closest Childhood friend, who was a big computer game fan, died of leukemia. To be honest, there are certain games that I can't really play for fear of getting upset. It seems stupid but the fondest memory I have is letting him have a key to my house one summer. He was an early riser and I tend to sleep late so he used to let himself in and play on the Amiga or PC for a good 2 hours before I even got out of bed!

Ta,
Pete

I would almost certainly be able to attend around April-May. Always happy to support a good cause.
