^^^ I've added you to my blog list - I did have you on my old blog but that was completely deleted a few years back now and now I have a new one! I would have just followed you but it's all gone G+ now and won't let me follow with my blogger profile.

Anyway, look forward to catching up with your posts :)

Thought I'd give this another stab - I've decided to focus on lesser-known or long neglected football games:

My first "real" post is about the madness of UEFA Dream Soccer.

Arguably the most paradoxically-titled football game of them all? It's World Class Soccer on the Lynx.

Fwiw, I'm rather enjoying your blog. I'm not a footie fan so some of the finer points may be lost on me, but I do like it as a videogame and I like the focus you have on just the one genre. Its a pleasant change from everyone moaning about all the football games on systems to have them properly discussed instead of just dismissing them.

Thanks for the feedback - that was the point of the whole blog really, everyone knows about FIFA and PES and you'll still get people banging on about Sensi and Kick Off. I thought it was about time someone highlighted the games that have been somewhat lost in the aether... even if most of the ones I've featured so far have been frankly utter crap!

They've not all been terrible, UEFA Dream Soccer is perfectly adequate. Maybe I get more out of them as I don't expect much from a footie game?

I'm hanging on for your Adidas Power Soccer review. Its a terrible football game, but a brilliant videogame.

I hope you're not too disappointed, Ant... it's Nike, not Adidas.

Have been super busy with posts this month, as I've been taking part in the Countdown To Halloween again this year! :D

Here's a list of all the games-related posts...

Return Of The Gruesome Games

Zombo (ZX Spectrum) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... zx_31.html

XBLIG Special (Xbox360) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... xblig.html

Isle Of The Dead (PC) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... ad-pc.html

Zombie Apocalypse 1 & 2 (Amiga) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... ombie.html

The Movie Monster Game (C64) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... movie.html

The Haunted Mansion (PS2) - http://deadpanflookandtheblogofstuff.bl ... unted.html

Also remember to check out the other posts from this month for old horror movies, 70s horror TV shows, old 1950s horror comics and other spooky stuff! There'll be a few more posts later today with more such stuff too....

Also also....I've just set up another blog solely for Gruesome Games, where I'll be reposting each game I've covered in it's own post, tidying up any broken links and adding any new info about them...it's just for reposts, but should be a better resource for anybody interested in horror games! Check out at this link....
