Holiday woe
I'm going to Turkey for two weeks tomorrow and was finishing packing before when my wife said, "You're not taking your Macbook, surely?"
I don't really want to, but my MP3 player, PDA and phone all charge off USB and I thought I could edit video on the fly at night when I was reviewing the day's footage. Am I being daft? I don't think I could survive without my MP3 player for 2 weeks. The PDA and phone, maybe.
Any suggestions?

Re: Holiday woe
Take a break from all that stuff and just enjoy your holiday. You'll appreciate all your gadgets more when you get back!
Re: Holiday woe
Going without your Macbook would be like the wife going without the holiday books, right?
I'd leave the everything except the MP3, you shouldn't need to worry about anything other than chilling out

Re: Holiday woe
I still need to charge my MP3 player, though, which only has a USB cable. Any ideas?
Thoughts and prayers.

A friend of mine brought his cricket bat with him on his honeymoon to Barbados.

I take my laptop everywhere, but I only ever use it for tunes in the hotel room.
If I went online on holiday the wife would bloody kill me! There's only so many times you can "check your bank account".
