today I went to look at new bicycles, touring ones as they can carry more weight (gaming gear)
Was advised that it would be better and cheaper just to level up my current one
I also started whitening some SNES and dreamcast consoles
As soon as I did the skys opened.................

Today my cat, Lexi, is going in for an operation on a hernia. No idea how/what happened. £3k. Glad she's insured.

Today work has started on the kichen refit.
Been in the house a year and a half(ish). Main issues were Cheap MDF rubbish (old, manky, and oven did not work) and bathroom (found out later, leaked into Cheap MDF rubbish as poor wet room bodge).
Bathroom was ripped out and done Fev 2016 (No bath, I mean who wants a bath when you can have a 1200 * 900 shower cubile).
Now it's the Cheap MDF rubbish's turn! Ahh to have a real oven again and not have to rely on a mini oven! I shall cook more!
Other minor thing was storage space. I boarded out the loft and all is good! (and put 2 15w LED's up there, brighter than the old 150w bulbs!)

Stayed it up until 3:40am last night binge watching Iron Fist on Netflix as on Easter hols today. Working with y11 from Tuesday to Thursday but only the good kids will there so not too bad.
Shame weather has turned a bit today though the weekend was fantastic in Sheffield.

Today, or rather last night, I had a rather bizarre video game related bad dream. I was at the Mars base in Doom 3 (no idea why, I haven't played or thought about it in ages) stuck in a room with several demons trying to smash down the door. At that moment my cat, having one of her mental moments, came flying into the room and jumped onto me, which caused a very brief but intense moment of panic. Really odd, especially as I can't remember the last time I had any sort of bad dream.

This story is improved exponentially by the forum's policy on changing the name of THAT room.
