Just arrived in Liverpool, spending Christmas with the in-laws, most of the snow seems to have gone here anyway.

Flegglekarlp, you do realise that it happened because you THOUGHT about it, because of the radio?

Either that or the radio was warning you. Spooky either way.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Teh Mestar, I tried turning it off and on again a few times, fortunately when I turned it back on last night it fired up alright. I watched an instructional video on the British Gas website on how to clear and prevent further blockages, their method for preventing further ones is to have another pipe fitted inside the one that freezes that heats up and defrosts it, fitted at cost to us of course, thanks for that.

Today was hectic, wrapping pressies, last bit of food shopping, helping my daughter bake almond slices, tidying up (shock horror - not something I do very often) - oh and going to the doctors.

Glad I had the day off work.

A few rumours flying about at the moment that it's Christmas today. Off round to my brother's for dinner and a p*ssup and see my nephews, looking forward to that. Enjoy your day whatever you're all up to!

Today, as we're fast approaching 2011, I've decided to send a message of apology to someone I used to be really close friends with for my part in a nasty falling-out we had eighteen months ago and a FB friends request, saying it'd be great if we could let bygones be bygones and continue keeping in contact (she recently sent a couple of happy christmas messages). I've been awake quite a while thinking about it and it wasn't an easy decision to make, since I still feel I don't actually have a great deal to apologise for at all and things were said to me / about me which were very hurtful indeed. But f*ck it - new year, new start and it's pointless holding childish grudges. Actually feel quite chuffed now that I've done it.
