Looks like a late 60's Corvette stingray to me.

I think there's a difference between being an inconsiderate idiot and being 'grown up'.
This is part of it , I've never claimed myself to be grown up , after all I'm 40 and still enjoy fart jokes and video games , don't care for drugs or excessive drinking but could happily spend hours riding my bike or out with my camera taking pictures of wildlife. I'd like to think I've found the balance that allows the childlike and oft childish to exist whilst knowing when to just be a bit more mature for the others around me. It's a shame I've felt surrounded by people I can't stick any more for being the wrong kind of childish paired with a worse kind of kind of grown up. Of course that's just my opinion as a grumpy old git.
Think its difficult getting that right mix. I know its not the 90's where i was out every friday/saturday drinking. With 2 kids now i'm quite happy having a more relaxed life, i do make sure i go out at least once a month to see my mates down south. Then its a bit more 'back to the 90's' as we drink a fair bit and probably talk about too many old stories from the past but its all good.

But some friends i never see anymore, the second they get settled down they never come out ! One guy suddenly started coming out tons as 'surprise surprise' he was single. Second he was attached off he disappears again ! I dont get it when people do that, its healthy to go out with your friends rather than just never socialise.

Plus to be fair if i go out once a month or so drinking i find it far more enjoyable as its every now and then rather than every weekend like the old days. With kids i'm too tired now anyway ! Plus i love trying to get a lay in in a morning but its impossible with the kids now !

Hard morning. Was at a funeral for an old work colleague. She basically drank herself to death, she was 32

Thanks. If myself and some other ex work mates did not go then the place would have been almost empty. She lost her mum, step dad, dad, and step mum all within a year. She then started drinking. Cut a long story short she refused help at every turn then drank herself into the grave. She died 10 years to the day after her mum. Today was not a good day

Last few days I've started writing news for Trueachievements. Only as a volunteer, but nice to give something back and do something with my spare time

Reminds me I should really cut down. People don't realise how hard it is for a former uni party kid. And then there's the possible genetics from one side of the family. I'm sure I can transfer my addiction to cheese though!

Ian Brady's just died. That's great news. Hope he rots in hell

Shame that mother never found out where her son was buried though

You just beat me to that one.
I hope he rots and burns in hell for all eternity. Reading the details of his crimes is grim, when I read about what he and Hindley did to poor Lesley Anne Downey I cried with shame that this bastard was the same species as me. Snatched, brutalised, raped, photographed, recorded, murdered and buried in that order.
Burn in hell

I find it really hard to read stories like that. I get really angry and upset about what that poor girl must have went through.
