I'm part of a small indie game team and probably should have registered using a less anonymous id

The visual style is what attracts me to retro usually. This is why I like games like Cortex Command.

I'm Paul... what to say, what to say...?
I'm 39, and I've been playing games since the Seventies. Yeah, pretty much all my life! I've owned computers and consoles right throughout the gaming timeline, and still enjoy games on all systems.
I'm from and live in the north-east of England, although I had a five-year timeout when I lived in the USA with my American wife. She's in the UK with me now, with our two sons.
I don't just love playing games, I love writing about them too. I wrote extensively for online mag Way of the Rodent when it was going strong, and I also managed to be involved in ZZAP! 64's Issue 107 and DEF Tribute. I usually use one of my ZZAP! pics from those mags for my avatar... I won't here, though, for fear of confusion (unless RG wants to hire me!)
Now, I'm pretty much limited to blogging... I've got 400+ posts up at my blog, A Gamer Forever Voyaging, covering everything from Atari VCS/2600 to XBox 360. And it's good to finally get myself signed up to the RG forums.
