 Someone tried to delete the censored forum - I know CVG was bad - there was talk of locking the whole of Off Topic over there and the PlayStation forum too at one point, but never did anyone try and delete the place

One of the first two appointed non-staff mods had a booze-fuelled breakdown and wiped out several weeks of messages, some years back. Although from what I can tell he did mend his ways in more recent times, having just completed an incident-free reign as moderator of a forum I can't link to, and has now retired to become Enid Blyton.

Ha ha i remember that. I also remember a forum members girlfriends 'friend' logging in and putting several insults on the forum !! ;)

Thankfully the mods have been good since that early incident. Why do people use their computer when theyre ratted ?! You only realise a week later how drunk you were when tons of crap arrives from ebay you accidentally bid on and won

Hi,

Thought I best introduce myself. I'm Liam, from Rotherham and I'm a collector and retro-gamer.

I started out in 1989 at the grand old age of 6 with a NES (Which is still wired up in my room!) and a copy of Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt. Over the years I went back and forth between Nintendo and Sega before getting a Commodore 64 in 1992, which I decided to spray paint red. I used to code a lot in Basic and use Assembler but a lot of that knowledge has disappeared over time.

My current collection includes:

Commodore VIC20
Acorn Electron
Commodore 64 (x3)
Nintendo NES (x3)
Sega Master System II (x2)
Commodore Amiga 500 Plus (x2)
Super Nintendo
Sega Megadrive (x2)
Sinclair Spectrum+2
Sinclair ZX81
Atari Jaguar & Jaguar CD
Sega Saturn
Playstation (x2)
Playstation 2
Xbox
Nintendo 64
Nintendo Gamecube
Nintendo GameBoy (& Gameboy Advance)
Sony PSP

Some pictures from my collection can be seen here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1 ... 4023e39c52

I attended Retro Rewind in Sheffield in April 2010. I enjoy speedrunning SMB on the NES. I'm currently making an album of music which is based on chiptunes and the C64 and Amiga are the primary instruments.

That is all

Whoa! what a collection!

For that music album, see if this can help you:

and download the GXSCC Beta 236E, it's for Windows, and it's amazing!! Converts any midi file in a lovely chiptunes!!
